In the presence of the Notary Public in the Province of Lower Canada, residing in the Parish of St-Jean-Port-Joli, in the County of Devon, undersigned and the witnesses hereinafter named,
Personally appeared Mr. Abraham Thériault, adult son of Mr Anselme Thériault and of Mrs. Marie Romaine Thibault, his father and mother from the said Parish of St. Jean and there residing, stipulating in this part for him and in his name on the one hand, and on the other hand Miss Marie-Reine Gagnon, minor daughter of the late Joseph Marie Gagnon and Marie-Reine Caron, her father and mother of the said Parish and there residing, and her said mother stipulating on her behalf, as she is a minor and has so given her consent.
